It looks like when I originally posted this to DA something happened and it did not appear in anybody's watch list. So this is a re-submission to see if it'll work this time.

This is my entry for the speed model contest. "Something Off Your Desk!".

Modeled, and Rendered in Lightwave 9.5. Not UV'd in 9.5 since that is broke until 9.5.1 or something so I had to go use bodypaint to unwrap. Minimal textures made in Photoshop CS3 Extended.

Model took about 25 minuets to make and texture. Scene set-up was about 0 minuets since I have tons of scenes I've pre-made. I like that myself. Each render took about 18 minuets.

Here is a picture of the real remote. --> [link] It's a little more gray than my model. I wanted to go for a apple "feel" though. The gray is kinda' dull IMO.

It was fun but I am not really into modeling real world objects. Still I got into this one this morning. Even with my son trying to pull the monitor off the desk and trying to drool in my PC. He is the best though!!
